The contractor consortium Femern Link Contractors (FLC) has selected Adapteo Danmark to be responsible for the construction of the blue-collar workers’ quarters at the Femern construction site in Roedbyhavn.
The new camp, FLC Village, will provide accommodation and shared living facilities for the Femern tunnel workers; a total of 30,000 square meters comprising of approx. 1,300 rooms.
The order is the largest in Adapteo's history. The rental period starts in June 2021 and is expected to run until 2027, with a total rental value of more than €17 million, Adapteo informs.
Flexible pavilions
In addition to accommodation for employees, the temporary town, FLC Village, will include recreational areas and flexible pavilion buildings with every conceivable leisure facility, such as a gym, games room, barbershop/hairdresser, mini-market and professional canteens.
Pavilions for recycling
Adapteo will begin the establishment of FLC Village in May 2021 and when the rental period ends in 2027, as according to the agreement, it will be possible to move the pavilions for use at another destination.
